Maison Unet operates at the convergence of architectural heritage, archival preservation, and fine trade craft. Born of a dual French and Argentine lineage, the atelier is steeped in two cultures where heritage, material purity, and handwork are held as sacred standards. This heritage instills an exacting eye, an innate reverence for historical forms, and an obsession with detail.
In quiet defiance of mass production and transient design, the studio seeks out historical forms defined by exceptional structural bones and enduring material lineage. The philosophy is singular: never to force an object into what it is not, but to honor, elevate, and preserve its character through an architectural lens. Guided by absolute restraint, each acquisition is stripped of superficial decay and refined through master trade techniques, from bespoke tailoring to timber restoration and artisanal metalwork.
The atelier issues singular architectural acquistions, releasing one-of-one furniture forms and sculptural objects meant to anchor premier private collections, transcend temporal trends, and quietly hold value across generations.

The atelier operates under the direction of Alexa Chambeaux, Director of Spatial & Object Design.
Rooted by a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan and a foundational study in biological sciences, her eye unites precise structural discipline with an unyielding devotion to natural form.
Accredited in LEED and WELL design standards, Alexa governs the studio through an absolute commitment to environmental purity: every natural oil, hard-rubbed wax, raw timber finish, and organic hide selected by the atelier must honor strict non-toxic and archival provenance. This quiet discipline ensures that every piece enters the home as a pristine physical object: uncompromosing in its health, history, and material truth.
